The Learnovo Kids Summer Tech Programme is open to children aged 5–17. Children are placed in age-appropriate groups — Starters (5–10), Explorers (10–13), and Builders (14–17) — so your child is always learning alongside peers of the same age and at the right level of complexity for their stage. Younger children (ages 5–6) can join the Digital Literacy track with parental support.

No prior experience is needed for the vast majority of our courses. We assess every child during onboarding and place them at exactly the right level. Children who have never touched code, never used a drawing app, and never made a video have thrived in our programmes. The only courses that benefit from some prior experience are App Development and Game Development (Builders) — but even these are accessible to motivated beginners.

It depends on the course. Most creative courses (Digital Art, Animation, Graphic Design, Video Editing) work on a smartphone or tablet. Coding, Game Development, App Development, and Web Design require a laptop or desktop computer. All software used in our courses is completely free — no paid subscriptions required. We send a full setup guide to every family before the first session.

The Summer 2026 programme runs across July and August 2026. We offer multiple start dates so you can choose the 2-week or 4-week batch that fits your family's schedule. Group classes run Monday to Friday with 4–5 children of the same age. They are more social, more energetic, and benefit significantly from peer interaction — children motivate each other, help each other, and celebrate each other's work. 1-on-1 mentorship is entirely dedicated to your child — the instructor teaches only them, the pace is completely tailored, and the schedule is more flexible. If your child is shy, particularly advanced, has special learning needs, or simply learns better alone, 1-on-1 is the better fit.

Yes. Every additional sibling receives ₦5,000 off their enrolment, on any track. This applies to group classes and 1-on-1 mentorship. Mention that you are booking siblings when you WhatsApp us and the discount is applied automatically.

Yes. Every child who completes the programme receives a Learnovo Kids Certificate of Completion for their course. The certificate includes the child's name, the course completed, the track (Starters, Explorers, or Builders), and the programme date. Children who achieve a Distinction grade are also featured in the Learnovo Kids Student Portfolio on kids.learnovo.ng.
